Our Story

Medinah Highlanders Pipes and Drums

The Medinah Highlanders are a great highland pipe and drum band affiliated with the Medinah Shriners. The band became an official Shrine marching unit in 1970 and it has been active in supporting Shriners Hospitals for Children since its inception. Our unit represents the Shrine in the community by performing in parades, competitions, concerts, weddings, and other events.  We wear the Ancient MacMillan Modern Clan tartan, which has the Shrine colors consisting of red, green and yellow. The Band includes bagpipers, drummers, and a color guard.
